The Dishlovyi family came to Buffalo after the war forced to leave their home in Ukraine. This film captures a few moment in their lives as they begin again, adjusting to a new country while carrying the weight of everything they left behind.

Created in collaboration with Jewish Family Services, the film was part of a fundraising effort and helped bring visibility to the experiences of refugee families rebuilding their lives.
